Friday evening sessions in Wendover start in September

We're proud to be launching Chiltern Comets
- Nick Cuthbert

HYFC is proud to be part of a local partnership launching a brand new team. The ‘Chiltern Comets’ is a new Pan-Disability football team for 5-11 year olds.

Five local clubs have come together to provide this opportunity for neurodiverse and physically disabled children to play ‘the ‘beautiful game’. We are working with Flackwell Heath Minors, Naphill Youth, Risborough Rangers Juniors and Wendover Juniors.

This initiative is sponsored and supported by the FA’s ‘Comets’ programme. It is designed to be great fun for the players, to help build confidence and social skills as well as contributing to overall fitness and wellbeing.

These sessions will be running weekly in Wendover from September. They will take place on Friday evenings.

If you have a child who is interested please fill out the form (link below), or contact: chiltern.comets@gmail.com if you have any further questions.

Development of the Chiltern Comets has been led by Alex Wagstaff (Club Chairman) and Nick Cuthbert (Football Development) alongside our local club partners and the FA. It is part of our plan to make football accessible to everyone, regardless of ability to pay or play.
