A great day out for all the family

HYFC coaches will be running the Football Zone for young players
- Kevin Johnson

Haddenham's biggest event of the summer takes place this Saturday, 6th July 2024 and we would love to see you there.

This year, HYFC coaches will be managing the Fun Football Zone including 'top bins,' a 'skills zone' and an 'activity course' for young players attending with their family. So, please come and see us!

The Euros Quarter Final - England v Switzerland - will also be on the big screen at 5pm. Who knows, we might even see England play some football!

Haddenham is host to one of the largest selections of beers for a one-day festival. With over 120 real ales, craft & pilsner, Summerfest also has over 40 ciders, plus gins, rums, Pimms & wine. There will also be a great variety of soft drinks and non-alcoholic alternatives.

Summerfest is far more than a beer festival and is a great family day out for all generations. It features:

  • an exceptional range of artisan food
  • three stages with excellent local entertainment
  • acoustic stage from 11 am to 4:45pm
  • theatre stage from 11am to 4:45pm
  • main stage from 2pm to 8pm
  • crafts, games and entertainment for the children from 11am to 6pm.

There are areas set aside for those who want to bring a gazebo and create their own base camp. There are quieter areas for those who want to meet up with friends, old and new.

HYFC is delighted to support Summerfest which is organised by the Haddenham Beer Festivals Trust. HBFT supports our Community Fund and next season is investing in the Club's development of Girls' football. So, by enjoying Summerfest you are supporting the Club!

Last year over 4,500 attendees helped raise more money for local good causes. Since the first event in 2004 over £425,000 has been raised for local charities and good causes.

Summerfest takes place at the Airfield, so it will be familiar territory for families of older HYFC players.

Gates will open from 10:30am. Bars will open at 11am through until 8pm, although last entry is at 6pm.
