The team were warmly welcomed by the hosts, who put them through their drills warming up with the Ladies team ahead of their league match against Worthing.

The girls were in invited into the locker room pre-match to meet the team, ask questions and find out a few pre-match secrets (they too like a packet of Haribo to keep them going!)

The girls proudly represented the Club, walking out together with the players on to the pitch.

There were fist-pumps all round before the game kicked off. Cheering loudly from the sidelines the girls were in admiration to the power, speed and skills on show. At half-time the girls were allowed on pitch for their own mini game in front of the crowds.

The second half was intense, with Abingdon down 1-0 but the Ladies pulled it back late in the second half with two fantastic goals, much to the delight of the fans and our girls.

We all felt warmly welcomed by our hosts and can’t wait to go back and watch the Ladies in action again soon.
